Tremezzina – Villa Carlotta offers children and families many educational activities and workshops to convey the historical artistic beauties of the museum, and the botanical garden, characterized by hundreds of exotic and non-exotic species.
It is a true educational mission where art and science merge and contaminate each other, to give visitors a different, in-depth and innovative reading of contents, which reveals multiple meanings and makes the experience more participatory and concrete.
For this reason, Villa Carlotta organizes a series of workshops aimed at families and lovers of art, nature and beauty entitled “The flower: a casket of life, a delight of the muses”. The next appointment is for Sunday, April 15th at 3.30pm.
It will be an opportunity to deepen the meanings of the flower, a marvelous object of nature. The flower is not just a vegetable organ used to reproduce plants, to encourage the encounter between different sexes in these living beings and an instrument of communication between plants and insects but it is also a delight for our eyes and a source of inspiration in the arts. The park of Villa Carlotta is full and the museum recalls its beauty.
The workshop, which lasts about an hour and a half, will be conducted by the educators of the Educational Services of Villa Carlotta that will involve visitors in exploring the artistic language and the scientific meanings that the heritage of the botanical park and the museum conceals and returns to visitors. more curious.
The event is designed for adults and children.
The other events with “The flower: a casket of life, a delight of the muses” will be held on May 6th and 13th; June 3; 11 July; August 5th and 12th; September 2 and 9.
