It was founded in 1995 on the initiative of an agricultural entrepreneur in Milan, who bought an old rural farmhouse from the end of the 18th century, to restructure it and start its own agritourism business.
The farm preserves all the original features of the typical mountain stone structures of the area of the Intelvi valley. Just 8 km from the long lake of Como (Argegno), our farm offers its guests the opportunity to stay in double rooms and / or family, all created keeping as much as possible, the original features of the old farmhouse.
You will therefore find a unique atmosphere, with accommodations particularly suitable for couples looking for a bit of romance and / or for New service: Sale of agricultural and pastoral productsfamilies, who want direct contact with the surrounding nature. The Al-Marnich farmhouse also has a very rustic restaurant, open every day, upon reservation.
You can taste local specialties and traditional Italian dishes, cooked with imagination but above all, with great care for the chosen ingredients: some of them, of our rigorous production (Cheese and Goat Salami, Blackberry and raspberry jams, Seasonal vegetables, Honey Mountain).
The ample free parking and the wood that surrounds it, make the farm “Al-Marnich” particularly suitable, even for short excursions on weekends. Pets are welcome and rooms are equipped with WI-FI or wired ADSL internet connection.
