Sonofabeach Canoe
The high Lake Como is a wonderfully wild and primitive environment and still largely intact: visiting it by canoe is a relaxing experience but at the same time has the taste of discovery.
Through the river Mera, a tributary of Lake Como, one enters the
Nature Reserve of the “Pian di Spagna”, then, going up the same, you get to Lake Mezzola, also part of the Reserve. Here you can see hundreds of birds and a varied and surprising landscape: on a low water shore and reeds , on the other, (accessible only from the lake), deep waters, sheer cliffs, isolated beaches and a beautiful waterfall.
