The Voltiano Lighthouse is a 29-meter octagonal tower built in 1927 on the summit of Monte Tre Croci (San Maurizio) on the occasion of the centenary of the death of Alessandro Volta. In the central vault of the lighthouse a bust of the Como physicist was placed.
From the top you can enjoy a spectacular almost 360 degree view that includes the lake, the surrounding mountains and the Alps on the horizon.
