A. Picci – silk from Como – The history of the company A. Picci begins in 1919 thanks to Luigi Picci, silk expert, and his wife Anna, grandparents of the current owner.
At first the company was involved in textiles commerce, then it specializes in the tailoring and sale of neckties, handkerchiefs, scarfs and silk accessories.
The cooperation with the best and most important producers of Como silk, the care of our tailorings and the research of new motifs and colors allow us to be both a vanguard in the silk framework of Como and to grant the origin of our products: 100% Made in Italy.
Our company is already present in the famous guide Lonely Planet and in 2012 it was honoured by Regione Lombardia with the praise Negozio Storico (Historical Shop) as it is the only one in Como in the silk field.
Our passion and reliability in the silk commerce took A. Picci, 96 years later, to open an on-line shop due to the huge amount of our worldwide customers’ requests.
We are happy to have the possibility to join you in your homes, but as usual we also wait for you in Como.

apicci.it is born!! The new e-commerce owned by one of the historic shops in the city of Como. The activity, in fact, was born in 1919 and, over the years, remains faithful to the principle of package and sell articles of silk products in Como and other natural fibers produced in Italy.
The shop specializes in the production and direct sale of neckties in pure silk hand-sewn, handkerchiefs, scarves fulfillment, and there are always wonderful offers.
