TORNO AND MONTE PIATTO

Torno is one of the most characteristic villages on the east side of the lake. You can reach this picturesque side of the lake, by bus or by boat.
The bus allow you to reach the square of the village and, by boat, you can arrive until the small harbour and then reach the square walking throug the small streets (it will takes 10 minutes more, but it’s a very nice walking).
From the square, you find a small street that goes up until piazzale Largo deli Alpini.
From there you find a path, on the right (mulattiera) that allow you to reach, in about one hour walking distance, Monte Piatto (610 mts.)
Arrived there, you can go on, following direction to the Church, where you have a wonderful panorama.
From that point you follow the path and you arrive to the Pietra Pendula, a very big stone.
You’ll finish your tour returning to Torno, through another small street.
You’ll arrive to Piazzaga, where it’s possible to have a lunch in a typical trattoria.
